Gone Are The Days

Well sure, the new release of the W4G books is about to come out, and they're taking the technology global. The the books are going to be free now instead of costing $99 or $59 (on sale in the last days...)

So the movement is expanding, and people are getting on-board and understanding that the high cost of driving can at least be reduced. That's good. The technology is getting better, and in many cases one no longer needs a dialed-gadget installed on or under the dashboard (things that made my wife give me that look).

On the other hand there is indeed something missing isn't there? The first and foremost missing item is the cheap "sex sells" logo at the the top of all the W4G site pages. All I can say about that is  - finally! But there's also that missing element of the average person taking a few common ingredients, figuring out how to make or where to buy specific parts, and assemble something unique. This was that something that opened the world of using water to extend mileage. It was suddenly yours to understand and implement. As it turns out the technology has grown to the degree that all you have to do now is buy a kit.  You can still get the books, but the focus has switched to getting something packaged and shiny. It is after all the American way. Why make a hard-boiled egg when you can buy one  pre-boiled and wrapped in plastic? Here's the email I received this morning:

Hi Guys!
The complete set of eBooks is nearing completion and will be uploaded to the servers on Wednesday, March 10th at 12:01 am Pacific Standard Time!
Thank you for your support during this lengthy process. As the revisions were made, many tens of thousands of people continued to sign up and expand our membership!

I don't want anyone to get me wrong on this - I fully support this movement, and I do believe that it is something that is needed in the world, but I miss the connection to personal innovation that was inherent in the early days of a couple of years ago. I also miss that feeling of a grass roots movement, fighting the powers of the oil companies. I miss my part in that process when I identified parts that were difficult to make or come by and created a small business where I sold those few items (at a very small mark up) to others who recognized that what I was doing had as much to do with my personal sense of integrity as with anything else. (I always made sure to provide links and connections to people who were selling similar items to my own - encouraging the expansion of the movement in as many ways as possible.)

Those days are now past. At some point Ozzie stopped communicating with me on any level but as a possible dollar sign. What has really happened? I suppose that W4G has gone the way of so many great underground movements: it has become a corporate entity that has it's sights set clearly on the bottom line.

Ah well. Notice that the link in the copy of the email above is a live one. In spite of  the demise of my early close personal connection with W4G - I continue to support any technology that will drive down the costs of driving while cleaning up the environment at the same time. I encourage anyone who is not already involved to sign up if for no other reason but to find out the possibilities. I say, let's get on with it. But I also say this: keep an eye to a future that may well reveal something else that might do the same things - but once again returning the power of making it work to the common person.

As I've said many times in the past: the goal is not always about making money, rather it is about making this planet a better place Right?

What is the matter with my thinking? Well I'll tell ya'...

So the results of this fill up show me that I've once again achieved 27.047 MPG and my immediate response is that hey, I've add 5tsp of baking soda to my electrolyzers and I see virtually no gain at all. The problem, however, does not lie with that my mpg has remained the same as it was before, rather the problem is that my expectations have been readjusted by the results that I've already gotten. Let's face it - 27 MPG is awesome! Especially when considering that before w4g I was averaging 21. So what's going on here?

I/We have gotten used to being conditioned by the media. There are expectations built into everything. Think I've got it wrong? Okay so how would you feel if you drove by a gas station in your neighborhood tomorrow morning that was selling gas for $3.25 per gallon. Get real - cars would be lined up around the block, and you could ask each and every driver what they were doing. And, each and every one would tell you that they were buying cheap gas. But we've all now been conditioned by big oil and the interconnected corporate media to have the perception that $3.25 is cheap!. Come on - gas for $3.25 is expensive and we all, at some level, know that.

My point is that I'm doing really well and - still I want more. I've been set up by my own beliefs. The good thing is that at least in this case they are my own beliefs, born out of my personal experiences, rather than those foisted off onto me by advertisers.

When I first started investigating the w4g technology I had my "I'm about to get stung" defenses up. I figured that I was about to get taken for a hundred bucks, and I also figured that it would be worth it if I learned something. To tell the truth though I had an innate feeling that just perhaps it was true - that the most plentiful substance on our planet could be the answer that we're all looking for. Hey just like the rest of you I did my homework and discovered the tale of Stanly Meyers and I've seen those videos - and I convinced myself that at least something was up. Well, as it turns out I didn't get stung at all, and I certainly did learn something. - I learned that I can get 27 MPG IN THE CITY consistently! And that water is indeed the answer. Do I think that I can do better? Of course I do. Can I be satisfied until I move on to get better results?

Oh alright...

By the way did I mention I get 27 MPG in the city?

Same Day New Post - Gas Shenanigans

Hey I found the best gas price in town! Uh well no I didn't 'cause once I was in the station I discovered that there was a dollar surcharge because I dared to use my Debit Card to pay. But hey I figured I was already in the place and I wanted to get gas and I know already that I would never go back to a place that would play games like that. I didn't need that much gas anyway... I filled up and paid and because I'm always curious to see how much I'm putting in the tank I couldn't help but notice that the amount of gallons on the receipt was more than the amount shown on the pump. This receipt is a bit hard to read but it does show 3.434 gallons when what I actually got was 3.195 gallons. It's not much but I noticed and when I asked the attendant/owner what was going on he told me that the extra dollar was represented as fuel! Can this be legal? Anyway it's the only reason that I bothered to put this receipt up for viewing since it only partially representing a w4g result. I went about 35 miles using nothing but the Oxygen Spacer after which I installed the new stuff and disconnected the Oxygen Sensor from the system altogether. So 23.09 MPG is the result but that really tells nothing at all, so let's not focus on it... okay? I'll be back in a few days to spill the beans.

Waiting waiting waiting

Today I waited all day long to receive my replacement MAP Enhancer. The Post Office taunts me with their insane tracking method which lets me know that it has arrived in the local station. Yet, I still do not have it! (See me thrumming my fingers on the desk.) Tomorrow is the day. (One can only hope.) Once I have it installed I'll put gas in my half full tank and report the results of having the Electrolyzer and the Oxygen Sensor Spacer in place. My hopes are not high. I did not bother to reset the computer with the disconnect the battery trick. Figured to do that when I put in the new Enhancer. On the other hand, one of my clients gave me new trick (you know who you are but I've forgotten - please write in as a comment to identify yourself - and I'll inform the readers of your ability to provide awesome information). Instead of pulling the the negative cable and leaving it off for 20 to 30 minutes - pull both cables off and touch them together. Reportedly it will do the same reset without the wait. Now, that's great... Thanks to that guy from all of us...

How to assemble the two parts of the tower.

Several people who've purchased the uniquely designed electrolyzer towers from me - have asked how to put the two pieces together, so I've cooked up a little flick (very short) to show just how it's done. When I have a few moments to produce my next extravaganza - I will also upload a video demonstrating how to properly lay in the electrode wires. I hope that this is helpful.

Anyone interested in purchasing towers can just look over at the the sidebar on the right of this blog to see how to do that. Or just write to me at waterxfuel@gmail.com with: how many you want - the thickness you want (1/8 or 1/4 inch) - and the state you live in.

About That Oxygen Sensor Spacer

Yesterday I made a valiant effort to install the thing and only managed to scrape my knuckles badly enough that they still hurt. It turns out that (at least for my car) you need a special wrench to pull the sensor out. My friend (and mechanic), Louie lent me the tool but the results were as stated above. Today I went back over to his shop and asked him to do the task for me - which he did in quick order and refused to accept payment. It took him all of 10 minutes. Experience and having the correct tool - counts.

So as you know I'd already put in the MAP Enhancer. So as a consequence of my failed attempt at installation - I'd already driven 29.4 miles - when the spacer was actually installed. So - I did drive around a bit with that piece of the puzzle missing, but also felt that I was getting a true gain that would show up with the spacer in or not. What happened next was unexpected but it was something that I noticed immediately upon driving out of Louie's shop: my MAP Enhancer needed to be readjusted to a leaner mixture. There was no doubt that something different was going on. It was unmistakable.

My next posting will contain my newest mileage stats, and for the first time they will reflect some highway driving. We intend to take the kayaks out for a spin tomorrow and will need to get to some interesting location - right? At least something more pristine than the East River.

Worst Mileage Ever

That's right this works out to 17.7 MPG. I got 4 miles less per gallon than my car gets all on its own! The reasons are clear and they all come back to me: As I posted earlier I could see that the car was not doing as well as it should - but did I disconnect the negative terminal from the battery for half an hour to let the computer reset again? Nope - I didn't want to deal with having to reset the radio stations and the clock. OMG did that lazy attitude come back to bite me in the behind - especially when I just paid more per gallon than ever. Also, I was waiting for the overwhelming heat to go away so that I could install the MAP Sensor Enhancer, so I didn't go in to fill the tank until that was done - meaning that I paid more and and at the same time had to buy more. Sure I knew the cost of gas was going up - because these days it's always going up. All in all - painful.

On the other hand, I did get the Enhancer installed yesterday. Just to be on the safe side of getting things in order, while I did the installation I did disconnect the battery. There was some mention in the instructions that I got of disconnecting the upstream Oxygen sensor - but I couldn't figure out how to do that other than pulling the electrical line off - which amounts to the same thing. Reason: I want to put the spacer on and I'm waiting until I talk to my mechanic to see if he can tell me how to do that without wrecking it. (I'll report later on that.)

What I did do was get the MAP Enhancer online and working! As you might surmise - I am fairly well proud of myself. Choosing the correct wire seemed a real problem but once I got it - I got it. I can tell that it's doing what it's supposed to do by a very simple test. First I followed the directions for tuning it and found that spot for my car that works best. Then, while the car was sitting at an idle I flicked the setting from Enhanced to Factory. There is a very noticeable difference in the engine. It is unmistakable. I did it right. I expect that that difference will show up the next time I fill up ( and I won't be waiting so long until I do that - because I'm dying to see the results). It's all I can do to keep myself from just going out and driving around, but I'm really not all that willing to demonstrate how stupid I can be:-)

Another thing that I did while I was installing the Enhancer is that I took another look at the "T" connection for the vacuum lines connected to the Electrolyzer - I noticed that one of them appeared to be loose. It was - which certainly may be responsible for the terrible mileage. I just don't know. Still, I took a close look and realized that the Universal T is designed in a way that each end narrows further and further so that it can accept all sizes of lines. What this means is that for my car I had lines that didn't need to be as small at the ends as these were - so I cut them off with wire cutter and reamed them clean with an Exact-o blade. What this should mean is that I will get more vacuum pulling the HHO into the manifold.

I'm realizing more and more that each little thing is important. As always I'm learning at each step and with any luck you will be able to avoid the pitfalls through my missteps.

I'm getting to it...

The fact is that even though I have the equipment I don't have a place in the shade to work in and sad but true the heat is too much to deal with. Out in it for ten minutes and literally felt nauseous! Generally I love the heat, but this is beyond anything. They say that it'll cool down later tonight, so tomorrow looks like the install day. Looked in the package and realized that I'd only ordered 1 Oxygen Sensor Spacer even though I knew I needed 2! Rats. I have the other one on order. I will install the one I have along with putting in the MAP Enhancer. Once I have those on the car I'll go put gas in it and I can tell that I've been wasting gas on this run. Hopefully my mistakes and falters will help the rest of you to avoid those things... Maybe not. Anyway, I'll report again as soon as I get things in order.

And on... and on...

Well, I haven't filled up yet but I can make a pretty good guess that the mileage is not where I want it to be. I do have the MAP Sensor Enhancer in my possession and have spent several days looking at it (it's just my style to do it this way) and rounding up information on how to install it properly. I would have put it on today, but frankly it was just too damned hot out there ( a humid 96 degrees). Maybe tomorrow. Also, I have a couple of Oxygen sensor spacers coming in a day or so (hopefully Monday). Once I've installed everything I'll come back and reveal the mileage from this fill up and will zero out to be ready for the next one... The next one should be the real deal.

By the way I ordered my MAP Enhancer from a guy named Vernon Minton. The link on his name will take you to his website. I wanted to mention that there are people out there who might sell you one of these gadgets for a little less, but this is a guy who went the extra mile to help me to understand how to hook the darned thing up. Certainly a person worth knowing. His work, by the way, has every appearance and feel of the highest quality. Highly recommended.

I'll be back.

Did it Again!

It's a fact! I was able to duplicate my first results which of course lead me to be so persistent in trying to work this technology out. As you can see I traveled 89.4 miles on 3.51 gallons of gas which means I got 25.47 MPG but it's even better than it looks because the last 2 miles or so I was in lots of stand-still traffic in Manhattan and I had the AC on. On top of that the car sat idling (again with the AC on) when some bozo ran into me and tried to drive off. (Everybody's fine) Well, the cops stopped him and I had to fill out all the usual rigmarole papers and blah-blah-blah. Why you ask was the car idling with the AC on? My lovely and beautiful wife Georgina was with me, and she needed it. 'Nuff said?

Anyway this is a real victory. What I want to see now is a consistent gain each and every time. That means that I need to put the MAP sensor on and figure out the oxygen sensor... There is a complexity to this, but I notice that once I get past my hesitation at doing something new - it becomes easy and natural.

If you want to check this technology out for yourself - this is the link

Yes, I do make money when you use the link to buy the books, but I would not encourage you to buy them unless I felt good about the product. Up until now I've felt good about it. Now, I feel great about it.

I encourage anyone to buy the books - buy the parts and begin your own local green revolution. I expect that as time goes on I will figure out how to do even better. I will begin to understand the technology in ways that I've not reached yet. My goals? The same as yours: to be free from Big Oil, to live on a healthy planet, to create a better future for my children.

Ahmmm Er Ah ...Hmmm

My last tank of gas (a couple of days ago) netted me even less mileage that the one before that (like 18mpg!). Frankly it was so bad that I wanted to lie about it here - but that's not what this is about is it? Really, if I'd not seen the initial results I'd be in the dumps about this... However, I've been in contact with the people on the w4g forum and they assure me that all is well and that what has happened is that the computer in the car has detected the fact of something that it sees as being a problem re: I AM NOT USING ENOUGH GAS! - so it is working to compensate. Crazy no? Well, what I've done to test this out is I disconnected my negative terminal on the battery for 30 minutes and then reconnected. This is supposed to reset the computer. In the meanwhile I've ordered the MAP sensor and await its arrival. That device is supposed to take care of the problem once and for all and enable the car to make even further use of the HHO device. I'll keep you informed...

My Mileage Stats Before Installation

As promised I'm including for everyone's inspection the kind of mileage I've been getting before installing the device on my car. I figured that the best and most transparent way to do this would be to include copies of the receipts themselves along with a photo of my gas gauge.

Now to be a fair, and as aboveboard as I know how to be, I want to let everyone know that I am an accomplished Graphic Designer and an expert user of Photoshop. Meaning that if I wanted to I could fake any of the the documents I've included - so the fact is that they prove absolutely nothing. However, I am giving everyone my word that I have not altered these images in any way, nor will I do so (without revealing the truth) in the future. Now, with that out of the way it looks as if my ol' Honda is getting 20.64 miles per gallon. The car is being driven by myself and my wife in normal stop-and-go city traffic. We've taken no trips on the highway. The weather has been cool to cold, and in the last couple of days it has been rainy. If the weather gets just a little nicer by next weekend I'll be installing the Water4Gas device. If not I'll post my mileage without it again next week. That's it for now.

A few days later...

As promised here's an image of Edison and another of his famous patent for the first electric lamp (bulb). To continue my report: I've now move along to the point were I am going to be purchasing the various items on the list and will begin construction as soon as I have a break in my studies. I do have a rather grueling schedule this year -but I expect the have a bit of time in the next few days - so I'll let you know what happens. Also I think that once I understand how to properly build the central component I will begin to create a video demonstrating how to go
about the process in the best and most effective way. Until my next posting please be patient because you know that...I'll be back.

Day 8

Yes, yes I know - a few days have passed without a post, but I've been reading this material and as I mentioned before there's a lot of it (all good). I just sent a copy of it to my dad who has a real knack for getting to the core of stuff like this and he and I will be able to compare notes etc.

You may be asking yourself what do the images of Tesla have to do with all of this really, and the answer is absolutely nothing, but let's face it the images are cool and whether you believe all of the myth, combined liberally with reality, surrounding this guy or not, he was a great inventor who was given a very hard time by the the rich and powerful of his day including Edison. To be fair I'll find a nice image of Edison for the next posting.

Anyway to continue, I've also put the list of components together and will soon be making purchases. One of the very first things I intend to do is to identify places local to me where I can buy this stuff. It shouldn't be all that hard since I do live in NYC, and would like to support as many local stores and industries as possible. I certainly encourage everyone do do the same in their own communities. It just makes good sense, doesn't it?

One other thing is that I had a couple of direct questions about the material, so I asked for assistance through their support email link and received an answer within a few hours each time. I believe that customer service is one of the most important things that any business can offer. So in that area, at least, I'd give water4gas a 10 out of 10.

I continue to be interested and so far nothing being expressed in the Water4Gas books is anything but positive and informative.

More later.

Day 2

Wow there's a lot of material, but at least they have my attention. I do not have the feeling that I've been taken in - yet.

So far I do have this feeling like I might be joining a cult or at least a fringe group. Kidding, kidding - it's just that there's a lot of talk about suppressed technologies and Nikola Tesla. While I read through the stuff I have also been researching the subject and when one searches for water driven cars the name that comes up most is Steve Meyer. There's all kinds of stuff that can be found on the net that talks abut his work, and his brother who continues that work since the "mysterious" death of Steve a few years ago. There's plenty of video on uTube and radio blogs and writings of all kinds to be found. The only problem I have with this is that some of the information is delivered by rambling, slow talking good ol' guys named Bubba, or like that... But the think is thatI mean no offense by that - some of these guys are really, really bright, but it's difficult to hear what someone has to say when their frame of reference to the world is so different from your own. There will certainly be some people reading this thinking exactly the same thing about what I have to say. Such is life.

There is something really compelling about what I've purchased - aside from the information itself, and that it the way that it is offered as an open source - it would be very easy for me to simply give it to anyone I wanted to give it to. The download site is not locked in any way. I could send the link to anyone I wanted to. There aren't any rules telling or even asking me not to do it.

Still, if someone clicks on the link to the site that I provide at the bottom of each off these posts, and they buy the instructions - I'll make money on the sale - a cool 50%, but is that enough to stop me from just giving it away? Well, not if it turns out to be nothing but bull. . .

I continue to read. . .
